Amishi Bajaj, MD, Joins ARO Board as ARRO Representative

Applied Radiation Oncology is excited to welcome Amishi Bajaj, MD, as the new Association of Residents in Radiation Oncology (ARRO) representative to serve on the ARO editorial advisory board for a 1-year term.

Dr. Bajaj is a PGY5 radiation oncology resident at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine; chair of ARRO; and past president of the McGaw Medical Center Housestaff Association. She is also the 2021 ASTRO Outstanding Presentation Award Winner for the American Association of Women in Radiology (AAWR) Members-in-Training, the 2021 Lasky Foundation Breast Cancer Fund Resident Award Winner, and an Alexander A. Goldsmith Award Finalist.

In her role with ARO, Dr. Bajaj will assist with editorial content in print and online, including coordinating the Resident Voice editorial for the journal. She will work with the ARO board and the publishers to find resident authors to fill the needs of the journal, including inviting authors to help write review articles, case reports, research submissions, and Global Health Scholar updates, among other efforts.

Dr. Bajaj succeeds Justin Anderson, MD, PGY5 resident physician at Mayo Clinic Arizona, who served as the journal’s ARRO representative from 2020-2022. Previous representatives were Ashley Albert, MD, now at Arizona Center for Cancer Care, and founding member, Kaleigh Doke, MD, at UCHealth Radiation Oncology.

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Bajaj!
